Privacy policy

Who we are

BETgram is a private project, shared with friends by its owner. For questions about this policy, ask the person who shared the app with you.

The short version

What stays in your browser

The site saves these in your browser's local storage, on your device only. We can't see them:

To delete all of it, clear this site's data in your browser settings.

What our server processes

The site runs on Cloudflare. When you use the AI brief, player data or the latest results, our server:

Cloudflare processes requests on our behalf and may keep standard technical logs. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Visitor statistics

To see how many people use the site, the owner uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views and visits without cookies and without tracking you across other sites, and only the owner can see the totals. Cloudflare handles this data under its privacy policy.

The AI brief

When you press "Write the betting brief", our server sends the match analysis on your screen and the text you typed in "Extra context" to Anthropic, which writes the brief with its Claude model. Don't type personal information in that box. Anthropic handles this data under its privacy policy.

Football data providers

Match data comes from football-data.co.uk and API-Football. Our server requests it from them. Nothing about you is sent with those requests.

Shared slip links

A slip link contains the slip itself (matches, picks, odds and stake) inside the link. Anyone you send it to, and anyone they forward it to, can see that slip. We don't store shared slips.

Age

The site is for adults only (18 or older, or the legal age for gambling where you live if that's higher). We don't knowingly process data about anyone under that age.

Legal basis and your rights

We process the scrambled request counters because we have a legitimate interest in preventing abuse and keeping costs under control. Because we don't hold data that identifies you, there's usually nothing for us to give you or delete, but you can ask the person who shared the app with you about any request. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
